From Four Years of Rejection to a ₦92 Million Contract

One of the testimonies that still stays with me happened last year.

Around June, a man came to see me.

You could see the weight of disappointment written all over his face.

For years, he had pursued contract opportunities without success.

He wasn’t introduced to me by chance.

His sister, who knew me, referred him.

That is usually how I work.

I don’t try to convince strangers or prove anything to skeptics.

Most of the people I see come through trusted referrals.

As we spoke, he explained that he was a contractor.

For nearly four years, he had been bidding for contracts.

Every opportunity seemed to end the same way.

Nothing ever came through.

What made his case particularly difficult was that he had already sought spiritual help in different places.

He had prayed.

He had tried various spiritual interventions.

Yet nothing changed.

After spending time seeking direction concerning his situation, I realized that the issue wasn’t simply about another prayer.

There were deeper matters that first needed to be addressed before any further progress could occur.

Every situation is different.

Some require very little.

Others require much more.

There is no single formula that applies to everyone.

After we completed what I believed was necessary in his case, I prayed over a simple mixture of cinnamon and sugar in water.

I asked him to wash his hands with it every morning for twenty-one days.

The materials themselves were ordinary.

The important thing was not their complexity.

What matters in any spiritual instruction is obedience, discernment, and the purpose behind it.

Within those twenty-one days, something remarkable happened.

He was awarded an NDDC contract worth ₦92 million.

As if that wasn’t enough, another challenge immediately solved itself.

He needed funding to execute the project.

Before long, an old friend living abroad unexpectedly stepped forward and provided the capital required to begin the work.

His story reminds me that seasons can change.

Years of delay do not always determine the future.

Sometimes one breakthrough can accomplish what years of striving could not.

May every prolonged season of rejection give way to doors that no one can shut.
