Favor Needs an Expression
One of the biggest misconceptions people have is that a lack of favor automatically means they are under a curse.
That is not always the case.
Sometimes the problem is much simpler.
You may be lacking an expression.
Throughout Scripture, God often chooses to work through physical means.
He speaks through people.
He uses skills.
He opens doors through relationships.
He blesses the work of our hands.
In other words, spiritual realities often find expression through natural channels.
The favor of God is no different.
Favor is not merely about receiving random acts of kindness.
Its purpose is to make you visible.
To cause your work to be noticed.
To position you before the right people at the right time.
But favor usually has something to work with.
Many people pray daily for favor, yet they have hidden the very thing God wants to promote.
Some have valuable skills but never develop them.
Some have genuine gifts but never put themselves where those gifts can be seen.
Some isolate themselves and expect opportunities to find them.
Others damage their own opportunities through poor character, lack of excellence, or the inability to relate well with people.
Then they conclude that favor is absent.
Sometimes favor is present.
It simply has no expression.
Over the years, I have seen people receive sudden financial miracles through prayer.
I have also seen people receive an unexpected breakthrough, only to struggle financially again later.
Why?
Because while a miracle can solve a moment, lasting favor usually requires a consistent expression.
If God continually opens doors for you, but there is nothing in your hands to sustain those opportunities, the results rarely last.
Ask yourself:
What value do I consistently offer?
What skill am I developing?
What gift have I hidden?
Am I presenting myself with excellence?
Am I easy to work with?
Am I creating opportunities for people to discover what I carry?
The favor of God is powerful.
But in many cases, it manifests through the expression available to it.
The stronger your expression, the greater the opportunity for favor to become visible.
Pray for favor.
But also build something that favor can rest upon.
Because when preparation meets favor, extraordinary things often happen.
