One Prayer, Different Results

Years ago, I supervised one of our prayer programs, and one testimony has stayed with me ever since.

There was a man who joined the prayers. He had been unemployed for over 10 years. Since graduating, he had never worked with his certificate.

I cannot remember the exact theme of that prayer session, but I remember that it involved using a new currency note.

At the end of the prayers, I instructed everyone to either give the note to a wealthy person or use it to buy something for someone they considered wealthy.

Then we waited.

In the weeks that followed, testimonies began to come in.

Many people experienced breakthroughs.

But one pattern stood out.

The people who received the most dramatic results were those who were looking for jobs.

That experience reminded me of something important.

I supervise these prayer sessions and use whatever items the Spirit directs, but I cannot always predict how the Spirit will choose to move.

Sometimes people come expecting one kind of breakthrough and receive something completely different.

Our responsibility is simply to obey the instruction.

The manifestation belongs to God.
